Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Head of the SAP Competence Center to lead and mature a high-performance team focused on innovation and business value. You will drive the SAP S/4HANA roadmap and oversee integration across Finance, Controlling, Sales, Treasury, and Asset Accounting.

You will manage internal teams and external partners to ensure on-budget, on-schedule delivery of transformation, ERP adaptations, cloud migrations, and global rollout initiatives, shaping the digital transformation journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or related area.
• Extensive experience leading SAP organizations, competence centers, or large ERP delivery teams in an international environment.
• Deep expertise in SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA with strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the SAP Competence Center to foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation and business value.
• Own the SAP strategy and roadmap, drive the transition to SAP S/4HANA, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Job description

As the Head of the SAP Competence Center, you will lead and further develop the competence center to foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and business value. You will play a key role in shaping The client's digital transformation journey by driving the development and rollout of the SAP S/4HANA roadmap to optimize business-critical processes and support sustainable growth. You will also enable new business capabilities, including market expansion and product innovation, through ERP adaptations and enhancements.

You will own the SAP strategy and roadmap, managing the transition to SAP S/4HANA and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role includes overseeing the end-to-end SAP landscape across Finance, Controlling, Sales, Treasury, Asset Accounting, and related integrations, with responsibility for governance, quality, and successful project delivery. You will manage internal teams as well as external partners and vendors, ensuring adherence to budget and delivery plans.

To be successful, you will typically have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related area. You will bring extensive experience leading SAP organizations, competence centers, or large ERP delivery teams in an international environment, along with deep expertise in SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA and strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes. You should demonstrate proven success delivering complex transformation, implementation, or cloud migration programs, paired with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, and a strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and results-driven approach.
