Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week — Monday–Friday and Sunday, US Eastern Time)
Compensation: $10.00/hr (approximately $1,600/month) + $250 –$750/month average in team performance commissions
Company Overview
Our client is a growing, membership-based organization with multiple locations. Due to the confidential nature of this search, further company details will be shared with candidates as they progress through the interview process. This role supports the post-sale customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
The Head of Sales will own the day-to-day performance and development of the sales operation, managing a remote team of 8–12 sales representatives across multiple locations. The sales process is primarily an appointment-booking model, where representatives contact, qualify, follow up with, and convert leads into booked trials, with some direct closing. This is not a top-producer role — the client is looking for an experienced sales leader who understands SDR/BDR work firsthand, can command respect from tenured representatives, and takes genuine end-to-end ownership of problems rather than escalating them.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, motivate, and develop a remote team of 8–12 sales representatives across multiple locations, scaling the team as new locations launch
- Own overall sales department performance, driving the core target of 10 signups per location per month
- Hold representatives accountable to established processes, activity expectations, attendance standards, and performance targets
- Track violations such as lateness, camera off during meetings, and missed daily call volume, applying strikes and triggering performance reviews at three violations per month
- Manage the team's use of GoHighLevel CRM, ensuring accurate pipeline management, lead tracking, follow-up, and reporting
- Navigate GoHighLevel better than the team and support representatives directly when they have questions
- Track key sales KPIs including monthly signups, call volume, call quality, script adherence, objection handling, booking rates, and show rates
- Conduct regular individual and team coaching based on call reviews, conversations, KPIs, and conversion performance
- Build and maintain trackers and dashboards in Google Sheets to organize signups, KPIs, violations, and performance data
- Use AI tools such as Claude or similar to automate KPI reporting, surface repeated mistakes in calls, flag at-risk representatives, and free up time for coaching
- Provide clear recurring performance reports to leadership, communicating challenges, opportunities, staffing needs, and recommended improvements
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new sales representatives, owning the full lifecycle when a representative leaves, including root-cause analysis and replacing them within approximately 14 days
- Document, maintain, and improve sales SOPs, scripts, follow-up workflows, no-show handling, qualification processes, and training materials
- Identify weaknesses in the sales funnel and implement practical solutions to improve contact rates, appointment-booking rates, show rates, closing rates, and overall conversion
- Step into conversations or closing situations when necessary and demonstrate the sales process personally, particularly when the team is under target
