Job summary

Out of the Closet Thrift Store seeks an experienced Head of Sales in the Chicago area. You will manage daily sales, assist shoppers, and lead a team to deliver friendly service while promoting HIV awareness and the AHF mission.

As a key member of AIDS Healthcare Foundation's OTC team, you’ll drive revenue, handle cash, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across our store network in Illinois. This role offers growth and meaningful community impact.

Contribution Profile

An OTC Head of Sales contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons. Within their duties of ringing up sales and answering customers’ questions this position has the opportunity to give stand out service that enhances the reputation of AHF and encourage customers to return to an OTC and recommend it to others. In addition, better sales performance will increase AHF's ability to serve more clients.

Precision in the handling of cash and credit purchases protects AHF and maximizes the revenue from the store.

TheHead of Sales can enhance the experience of other OTC employees by being friendly and helpful and by offering to give them a helping hand when they need it. In addition, giving feedback to their manager about how service could be improved will allow the team member to enhance their contribution.
