Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Safety Leader to drive safety performance across production facilities in Brentwood, NY. You will lead site safety committees, manage incidents, and partner with leadership to implement preventive actions.

This role requires 5+ years of related safety experience and strong OSHA knowledge. You will oversee workers’ compensation coordination, training, audits, and regulatory reporting, while collaborating with HR and risk management to minimize risk and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is required.
• 5+ years of related safety experience, including safety training development and delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and applicable local/state safety and health regulations.
• Direct safety experience in a general industry or manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead site Safety Committees and partner with leaders to identify hazards and strengthen safety performance.
• Direct response to workplace emergencies, accidents, injuries, and near-misses.
• Lead investigations, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and ensure sustainability.
• Conduct safety audits of buildings, equipment, and conditions; document findings and follow through to resolution.
• Mentor others on safety best practices across production facilities.
