Darling Ingredients is seeking a strategic Safety Leader to design, develop, and oversee comprehensive health and safety programs across our plants, docks, offices, and other sites. You will lead a team of 5+ safety managers, drive regulatory compliance, and implement safety management systems with a strong emphasis on education, analytics, and engagement.

This role partners with regional safety teams and corporate stakeholders to foster a proactive safety culture and deliver dashboards,

Competenze

7+ years leading high-functioning safety teams.
Experience implementing safety programs and compliance systems (ISO 45001).
Strong ability to develop training curricula and LMS platforms.
Proven cross-functional leadership in matrixed environments.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Mansioni

Lead Safety Central Services Team and strategic initiatives.
Design, develop, and implement health and safety programs across the organization.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Educate and train employees on safety protocols.
Manage and administer safety programs, policies, and systems.
Support the Regional Safety Support Team and collaborate with the Fleet Safety Director.
Foster a positive safety culture across plants, docks, offices, and other sites.
