Job summary

Farmer’s Fridge in Chicago is seeking a Head of Planning to own the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning process for daily fresh-food production, stocking, and delivery. You will lead planning across Procurement, Production, Pick Pack, Fulfillment, and continuous improvement to convert demand into an executable plan.

You’ll build a constraint-based planning roadmap, defend data-driven decisions, and partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to optimize capacity, reduce bottlenecks, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of supply chain or operations planning experience, including 3+ years leading teams.
• Demonstrated ownership of a full S&OP cycle, including running the executive S&OP forum.
• Labor planning and resource planning across multi-site operations.
• Network design and capacity modeling experience.
• Experience with constraint-based planning models (finite capacity, rough-cut capacity).
• Experience balancing supply and demand to maximize business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the full S&OP cycle end-to-end with a published plan of record.
• Lead planning managers across Procurement, Production, Pick Pack, and Fulfillment.
• Develop and maintain a constraint matrix and escalation paths.
• Identify bottlenecks and translate analysis into capacity and network recommendations.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations on capacity investments and route optimization.
