Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an AI Governance and Evaluation Executive to lead the enterprise Responsible AI Governance and Evaluation program, reporting to the CAIO. The role translates enterprise direction into annual priorities, governs intake, evaluation, vendor assessment, and documentation, and coordinates across compliance, information security, and IT.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with experience in AI governance and enterprise programs.
• 8 years of progressively responsible experience in AI, digital health, healthcare operations, technology governance, or related fields.
• 4 years leading people, programs, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience implementing enterprise roadmaps and translating priorities into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day enterprise Responsible AI Governance and Evaluation program on behalf of the CAIO.
• Translate program strategy into an annual operating roadmap with priorities and resources.
• Operationalize AI policies, standards, workflows, and review pathways.
• Coordinate governance across institutional structures and senior leadership.
• Develop reusable review patterns, templates, and evidence packages to improve consistency.
