Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Texas is looking for a Building Inspections Department Manager to oversee the lifecycle of residential engineering projects and lead a team of project managers and inspectors. The role demands strong leadership and project management skills, alongside technical oversight to ensure compliance with engineering best practices. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience, excellent communication skills, and be certified in relevant ICC codes. This position requires onsite presence and regular travel within Texas.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of residential or related code compliance experience.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in overseeing code compliance inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle of residential engineering projects from planning to execution.
• Manage building inspectors and project coordinators.
• Perform Structural Building Inspection duties.
