Job summary

Reporting to the RC, the Head of RCO leads the office, guides development policy, manages partnerships, and oversees operations to provide timely support to the UNCT and ensure alignment

Qualifications

• Strategic guidance and oversight experience in development policy.
• Ability to analyze SDG financing and policy outcomes.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional UN teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance to the RC and UNCT on UN support for the 2030 Agenda.
• Oversee development policy, economic analysis and SDG financing outputs for RCO.
• Initiate and coordinate external partnerships and resource mobilization for the CF.
• Coordinate the Business Operations Strategy and efficiency initiatives.
• Lead knowledge management and capacity development activities within the UN System.
• Manage overall RCO operations to ensure timely, quality coordination for the RC/UNCT.
