Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent plus 10 years of professional experience to include 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in safety programs and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the university’s research safety programs across campuses.
• Oversee chemical and radioactive material safety and ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop and implement safety policies, systems, and training.
• Advise senior leadership on regulatory changes and safety program effectiveness.
• Chair and support institutional safety committees and partner with emergency services.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and continuous improvement of safety operations.
