Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of professional experience, including 3 years supervisory.
• Strong knowledge of chemical, radiation, and laser safety.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex regulatory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs across campus research activities and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for the Research Safety unit.
• Develop and deliver training on chemical, radiation, and laser safety; chair safety committees.
