The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) seeks a Director of Research Data Governance & Analytics to shape the data strategy for research and education initiatives. You will partner with IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Administration to ensure governance, quality, and responsible use of data across the enterprise.

Reporting to the VP of Research Administration, you will drive data standards, manage risk, and oversee analytics capabilities that translate institutional strategy into measurable outcomes

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading enterprise data governance programs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of data management, data architecture, and security requirements.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and policy development in research contexts.
• Ability to translate strategy into measurable governance outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement a comprehensive research data governance framework.
• Coordinate across IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, Research, and Administration.
• Define data policies, standards, and metadata requirements; ensure FAIR/CARE alignment.
• Lead analytics initiatives and establish KPIs for research and education outcomes.
• Create data quality scorecards and oversee data sharing, lineage, and provenance.
