Brown University Health seeks a senior leader to provide overall leadership and strategic direction of Departmental Research Administration. This role includes direct management of the pre-and-post award managers, directing and monitoring of overall operations across pre and post award, HR support, financial management and Time and Effort functions.

Work on specific projects as requested by the Vice President.

Qualifikationen

• Requires undergraduate degree; master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and non-federal funding guidelines for biomedical research.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong familiarity with computer software and networks.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for Departmental Research Administration.
• Direct management of pre- and post-award managers and operations.
• Oversee HR support, financial management and Time & Effort functions.
• Develop policies, templates, and operating procedures.
• Create metrics for staffing, workload, and resource allocation.
• Prepare reports for the Vice President of Research.
• Represent the DRA group in governance meetings and with sponsors.
