Cerity Partners' Norfolk wealth management practice seeks a Director of Investments & Equity Management to lead the investment function and supervise a skilled team. The role sits at the core of our $4B platform, with direct accountability for a quantitative equity model and its client impact.

The position requires senior leadership, strong communication, and a deep expertise in equity portfolios with a fundamental overlay. Norfolk-based, with strategic visibility across the firm.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of experience managing equity portfolios.
• Experience running quantitative equity models with a fundamental overlay.
• Ability to apply tax-sensitive considerations (cost basis, tax-loss harvesting).
• Experience mentoring an investment team and coordinating with an Investment Committee.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment management for the Norfolk practice's approximately $4B AUM.
• Develop and mentor the investment team.
• Coordinate investment strategies with the firm’s Investment Committee.
• Maintain and refine a quantitative equity model with a fundamental overlay.
• Direct implementation of the model across thousands of client accounts.
• Communicate strategy and performance to senior leadership and clients.
• Engage with advisors to translate strategy into client guidance.
• Monitor markets, model performance, and risk on an ongoing basis.
