Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Technical Director of Quality Assurance to lead QA strategy across multiple software products and integrations for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role requires managing enterprise QA programs, establishing dashboards and metrics, and guiding AI-enabled testing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in QA, 7+ years leading QA organizations, and strong experience with cloud-native testing, regulatory compliance, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software quality assurance and delivery
• 7+ years leading enterprise QA teams
• Experience with executive dashboards and quality reporting
• Experience in healthcare/government/compliance environments
• Experience with cloud-native, web, API, middleware, data, and AI platforms
• Ability to establish data-driven decisions with KPIs and executive reporting

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise QA strategy across multiple products, platforms, and delivery teams
• Establish testing standards, governance frameworks, quality metrics, and best practices
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure software quality and release readiness
• Align quality roadmaps with product, technology, and business objectives
• Lead and mentor QA managers, test leads, automation engineers, and QA teams
• Partner with executives to align quality objectives with organizational goals
• Oversee automation frameworks for web, API, middleware, data, cloud, and AI-enabled apps
• Drive CI/CD and DevSecOps integration of testing and quality gates
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, government, and other regulations
• Guide AI-powered testing strategies and AI risk mitigation
• Direct quality planning and resource allocation across programs
