Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage the company’s quality control processes and procedures to ensure products and services are of the highest standard.
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to international and national quality regulations and standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality control specialists to maintain product quality and service standards.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Collaborate with production and manufacturing to align quality goals.
  • Identify and implement quality control technology and new systems.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for quality management with clear goals and targets.
  • Conduct regular audits and review processes, materials, products and QC status.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading quality initiatives and promoting a culture of quality.
  • Audit and evaluate suppliers' and vendors' quality performance.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and regulations.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics for leadership.
  • Manage product testing procedures and approve/reject vendors based on quality.

YOUR TASKS
  • Develop, implement and manage the company’s quality control processes and procedures to ensure products and services are of the highest standard.
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to the industry’s international and national legislation and standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of quality control specialists to ensure maximum efficiency in maintaining the quality of products and services.
  • Lead and manage investigations into quality issues or non-conformities, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Liaise with internal departments, such as production and manufacturing, to ensure aligned goals and optimal quality.
  • Identify and recommend quality control technology and equipment, implementing new strategies and systems for quality management.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for quality management, setting clear goals, objectives and performance targets.
  • Conduct regular audits, reviewing processes, materials, products and the quality control condition.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by leading quality initiatives and projects, and promote culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Audit and evaluate suppliers' and vendors' quality performance to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments as well as evolving regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics for review by company leadership.
  • Manage and oversee product testing procedures, assess the final product quality, and approve/reject vendors based on quality standards.
Your Qualifications
  • Salary Range: $93,500-$99,900
  • 10 years of experience in quality management roles within the relevant industry preferred.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of international quality standards and regulations such as ISO 9001.
  • Strong understanding of statistical quality control and structured problem-solving methods.
  • Experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives and change management.
  • Knowledge of relevant business management software, quality control applications and databases.
  • Professional certification in quality management like Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must have strong strategic thinking, analytical, and planning skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
