Job summary

CAI is seeking an Executive Director, Service Delivery - Public Sector to lead delivery for State and Local Government accounts nationwide. This full-time, remote role requires 25-30% travel and oversight of end-to-end delivery, ensuring quality services and strategic client engagement.

You will support vertical sales, drive customer relationships, and provide leadership across projects, with strong emphasis on SLA-based managed services and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in IT Account Manager, Technical sales or Technical Delivery in a public sector environment.
• Experience with direct oversight and/or delivery of large public sector initiatives.
• Experience with public sector procurement: RFP cycles, cooperative contracts, and SLA-based managed services.
• Strong background in managing customer expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with ability to influence others.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25-30% for state and local government engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery organization to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Own end to end day-to-day delivery execution across all accounts and services within the vertical.
• Identify and execute expansion and renewal opportunities within existing accounts.
• Provide strategic advice to customer stakeholders and senior consulting on key projects.
• Oversee and execute assessments and engagement transitions.
• Support Sales with presentations, briefings and customer calls.
• Provide technical leadership for RFP responses and proposals.
• Scope projects and create SOWs.
