Healthfirst in New York City seeks an Assistant Vice President of Provider Payment to lead provider payment configurations, onboarding, and provider data maintenance, ensuring accurate, timely claims and compliant payments. Three in-office days per week at 100 Church Street.

The role shapes strategy, oversees credentialing workflows, and develops a high-performing team with strong cross-functional communication and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing others in roles with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and Commercial Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain provider payment configurations and pricing.
• Oversee provider onboarding and provider data maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with NY state and federal requirements and audit readiness.
• Lead credentialing workflow and policies for timely provider record loading.
• Develop strategic plans to improve provider payment experiences.
