Qualifications

• PhD in Biophysics or related field with extensive industry leadership experience.
• 12+ years in biopharma with leadership in analytics, biophysics, developability, and protein‑protein interaction characterization.
• Track record building, inventing, or scaling novel assay platforms for protein therapeutics.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the multi‑year scientific and organizational vision for Protein Analytics & Biophysics, aligned with platform priorities.
• Define next‑gen biophysical, biochemical, developability, and protein‑protein interaction measurement capabilities, including miniaturized and high‑throughput approaches.
• Lead evolution of analytical and interaction workflows (HPLC/UPLC, LC/MS, electrophoretic, stability, light scattering, biosensor) with rigor and reproducibility.
• Build strategies connecting conventional analytics with pooled/multiplexed approaches to measure protein attributes at large scale.
• Collaborate with Prototyping, Technology, Automation, Data Sciences, ML, and Biology to design, validate, and scale new assay concepts.
• Identify and implement technologies that reduce sample volumes, increase throughput, or provide richer attribute profiles.
• Establish data standards, quality controls, and analytical frameworks for high‑throughput measurements used in model training and program decisions.
• Generate high‑quality data across Discovery to early Development focusing on developability, stability, specificity, affinity, kinetics, and manufacturability attributes.
• Drive operational excellence: prioritization, resourcing, milestones, metrics, and clear communication of tradeoffs.
• Represent the function with executive stakeholders and external partners, translating strategy into actionable plans.
