Job summary

The Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx) at OSU in Corvallis, OR, seeks a Director of Production and Presentation to oversee production and rental operations, budget stewardship, and strategic planning for 180+ events annually.

The role requires a strong artistic sensibility, advanced project management, and the ability to coordinate across venues, disciplines, and visiting artists while maintaining high standards of safety and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience coordinating complex production environments and multi-site events.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and lead diverse teams across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage an integrated master schedule for daily PRAx operations.
• Oversee planning and allocation of backline and technical assets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the annual production calendar.
• Maintain accountability for the production budget and forecasting.
• Lead cross‑department coordination with programmers and faculty partners.
• Coordinate advance processes with visiting artists and their teams.
• Provide on-site leadership during live events and ensure safety and quality.
