Generac seeks a strategic Senior Director of Product Security to guide the enterprise security program across connected products and energy solutions. You will drive secure by design across development lifecycles and align with global regulatory expectations.

You will partner with Engineering, Legal, and Executive teams to build a world-class security function and ensure customer trust and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an enterprise product security program across hardware and software.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory obligations into engineering requirements.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, legal, and executive leadership.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance across multiple markets.

Responsabilités

• Set the enterprise product security strategy and multi-year roadmap embedding secure by design.
• Establish IEC 62443 as the primary product security framework across products and services.
• Lead Product Security Incident Response capabilities and crisis management.
• Drive regulatory and compliance leadership for EU/UK and other markets.
• Partner with engineering to embed security requirements, threat modeling, and risk decisions into design and release.
