Job summary

Veritas Search Group is seeking a Head of Product - Innovation to lead new product and business initiatives while overseeing a portfolio of strategic projects. This role blends product innovation, business strategy, R&D collaboration, and program management in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You will evaluate opportunities, develop business cases, and partner with R&D, product, operations, and finance to move concepts from idea to launch.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product innovation or related fields.
• Experience evaluating new business opportunities and building business plans.
• Strong project/program management across multiple initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate with technical, R&D, operations, and executives.
• Analytical, financial, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with hardware, manufacturing, robotics, or emerging tech is a plus.
• Thrives in entrepreneurial, fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new product and business opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, and feasibility assessment.
• Develop business cases and execution plans for promising opportunities.
• Partner with R&D, product, operations, and finance teams to move concepts from idea through development and launch.
• Lead and manage a small cross-functional product and project team.
• Oversee enterprise projects, including priorities, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Establish project tracking, reporting, dashboards, and operating processes that provide leadership with clear visibility into progress.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, and AI tools.
• Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
