Job summary

Ethernovia is seeking a Head of Product Development Engineering to drive products from NPI to high-volume automotive-grade silicon. You will lead hands-on semiconductor development, bridging premier chip designs with scalable manufacturing.

Based in San Jose, CA, this role demands leadership in test, yield, and pre/post-silicon readiness, across Arch, Design, SW/FW, DFT, System, and QA teams. You will own test strategies, optimize wafer-to-system processes, and ensure automotive safety standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in fabless semiconductor operations for high-performance SOCs or networking ICs.
• Direct experience with ATE and SLT testing, characterization, and silicon/package qualification.
• Direct experience with foundries, assembly houses, OSATs in high-volume product development from NPI through HVM.
• Expertise with iJTAG, Scan, MBIST, Sensor, SerDes, LSIO/HSIO testing on ATE and system-level correlation.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end product test and hardware ownership from pre-silicon to post-silicon.
• Execute NPI bring-up for high-speed Ethernet switch and PHY products.
• Own manufacturing flow from wafer starts to sample delivery and test strategy.
• Own characterization, ATE to system correlation, productization and manufacturing specs and margins.
• Drive yield improvement across processes, packaging, and test while maintaining automotive quality.
