Signal and Strand is seeking a Head of Product Design to own the end-to-end UX and visual design for its multi-brand digital properties. This hands-on leadership role requires shipping cohesive design language, collaborating with editors, members, and product teams, and guiding a lean design function.

You will set design vision and maintain a scalable system while personally prototyping and refining key components across websites, emails, and future mobile concepts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX/product design experience, including end-to-end ownership
• Strong portfolio covering web and email/marketing design
• Experience building/evolving a design system used across brands
• Experience partnering with engineers from concept to shipped product
• Ability to defend design decisions to executives and stakeholders
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility and email rendering constraints

Responsabilités

• Define and own the UX/visual design vision across the company’s digital properties
• Own end-to-end website design including IA, interaction, visual design, and responsive behavior
• Design and maintain email templates and marketing formats across markets
• Lead early-stage design exploration for future mobile app initiatives
• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library
• Collaborate with engineering to translate designs into shipped product
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate decisions
• Maintain accessibility, usability, and brand standards
• Hire, mentor, and grow the design team as needed
