Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is seeking a Director of Product Compliance to own compliance across our entire portfolio. You will define policy, risk framework, requirements inventory, and gates that shape certification from concept to market.

You will lead and grow the compliance team, translate ambiguous requirements into a clear strategy, and partner with Product and Engineering to align launch timelines with certification lead times, ensuring cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product compliance, certification, or regulatory engineering.
• Experience leading a team.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence across multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Own product compliance for the company across the portfolio.
• Set policy, arbitrate cross-program tradeoffs, own launch readiness sign-off.
• Act as the single point of accountability for contested requirements or high-risk launches.
• Lead and grow the compliance team embedded in program teams.
• Translate evolving requirements into a clear compliance strategy and momentum.
