Job summary

Investigo represents a leading U.S. autonomous technology company seeking a Director of Product Compliance in the Bay Area to build and own the product compliance operating system, establish policy, risk frameworks, and governance across a growing portfolio of hardware and software products.

The Director will own strategy, lead a team of compliance engineers, partner with Hardware, Engineering, Product, Security, Legal and Regulatory teams, and translate evolving requirements into executable

Qualifications

10+ years of product compliance, certification, or regulatory engineering experience.
Experience with UAS/FAA/EASA frameworks, federal requirements, regulatory advocacy, or standards bodies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own product compliance strategy and launch-readiness sign-off.
Lead and develop a team of portfolio compliance engineers.
Partner with Hardware, Engineering, Product, Security, Supply Chain, Legal, Government, and Regulatory teams.
Translate evolving or ambiguous requirements into executable compliance strategies.
Direct internal and external SMEs across EMC, radio, product safety, cellular/PTCRB/MNO, batteries, aviation, cybersecurity, export controls, and supply-chain compliance.
Help the organization anticipate and shape regulatory requirements rather than simply react to them.
