Job summary

Peregrine is seeking a seasoned Lead Procurement Manager to be our first in-house buyer, overseeing software/IT, marketing, travel, and services. You’ll own vendor relationships, negotiations, renewals, and guide stakeholders to optimal purchasing decisions at the right price.

Based in San Francisco, you will manage the full vendor lifecycle, balance business needs with terms, and drive savings by consolidating tools and renegotiating licenses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or negotiations.
• Experienced in in-house vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Strong communicator guiding stakeholders through sourcing decisions.
• Proficient across software/SaaS, marketing/events, travel, and services.
• Experience coordinating security and data privacy reviews (SOC 2, DPAs).
• Located in San Francisco and available to work in-office.

Responsibilities

• Be Peregrine’s first in-house buyer, supporting purchasing across every team — software/IT, marketing/events, travel, professional services, and more.
• Manage vendor relationships, own negotiations, track renewals, guide stakeholders through purchasing decisions, and ensure right tools and services at the right price.
• Own the full vendor lifecycle, balancing business needs, commercial terms, vendor risk, and long-term partnership health.
