Head of Private Dining, Catering & Events- Eataly Corporate

Job Description
The Private Dining & Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning, standardization, and performance of private dining, external catering, and banqueting services across all Eataly locations in North America. Based in NYC and reporting to the Director of Hospitality, this person will be the operational and strategic lead for the department—supporting local teams, building scalable systems, and optimizing both guest experience and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Department Leadership & Coordination

  • Act as the central coordinator and main point of contact for all event-related business across Eataly North America.
  • Evaluate and streamline private dining, catering, and banqueting programs for consistency and excellence.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with store-level sales managers, chefs, operations, and marketing teams.

Sales Development & Event Oversight

  • Monitor and assess sales data and trends, creating regionally appropriate sales strategies.
  • Support lead generation, client outreach, and business development efforts in partnership with local teams.
  • Guide planning and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and consistent brand representation.

System Standardization & Technology Use

  • Implement and oversee event management platforms and CRM (i.e, Tripleseat, Salesforce, SevenRooms, etc.) across all stores.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
  • Identify platform improvements and technology upgrades to improve workflows and client experience.

Training, Communication & Process Improvement

  • Provide training, coaching, and resources to store-level private dining and events teams.
  • Regularly communicate updates, SOPs, best practices, and brand initiatives.
  • Develop guest-facing materials, menus, contracts, and proposals in alignment with company standards.

External Engagement & Brand Representation

  • Foster relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and vendors.
  • Represent Eataly at industry events, tastings, and trade shows as needed.
  • Support marketing and PR teams with event-related content and success stories.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in events, private dining, banqueting and catering coordination, preferably across multi-unit operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate across functions and regions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills—clear and guest-focused.
  • Proficiency with event management and CRM platforms (e.g., Tripleseat, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Highly analytical and results-driven, with experience interpreting sales trends and adjusting strategy.
  • Passion for Italian food and hospitality.
  • Must be based in NYC and able to travel to Eataly stores as needed.

Additional Information
The annual compensation for this role is 100,000- 130,000.
