Job summary

Gotham FC in Whippany, New Jersey seeks a Head of Player Development and Management to work with the Head Coach and President of Soccer Operations. This role will be the tactical liaison for the Head Coach's vision for individual player improvements on and off the pitch.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in professional soccer and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include owning the IDP process, maintaining the Player Outlook Plan, and serving as the on-field

Qualifications

5+ years of coaching experience.
5-7 years experience in women's soccer and/or professional soccer.
Knowledge of NWSL and women's soccer landscape.
Ability to communicate effectively and motivate others.

Responsibilities

Own the IDP process for every First Team player with the Head Coach and staff.
Maintain a Player Outlook Plan covering on-field, career and psyche/well-being.
Serve as the primary on-field player-management resource to the President/GM.
Ensure clear communication of team and individual expectations to players.
Lead the individual-development component of First Team training.
Coordinate across the sporting organization to address player development and readiness.
