Job summary

Gotham FC is seeking a Head of Player Development and Management to align with the Head Coach and President of Soccer Operations. The role will act as the tactical liaison for individual player improvements on and off the pitch, driving IDP and player-outlook strategies in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of coaching experience, 5-7 years in women’s soccer, and a USSF/UEFA A license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coaching experience.
• 5-7 years experience in women’s soccer and/or professional soccer.
• Knowledge of NWSL and women’s soccer landscape.
• Ability to communicate effectively and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Own the IDP process for every First Team player in collaboration with Head Coach, staff, Performance & Medical, and Analysis departments.
• Maintain a documented Player Outlook Plan with on-field, career, and psyche/well-being assessments.
• Lead the individual-development component of First Team training focused on coaching, placement priorities, and execution.
• Coordinate across the sporting organization to ensure information affecting a player's development is understood and acted upon.
