Job summary

McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, seeks a strategic transportation leader to oversee the Plasma Transportation function, driving network design, routing, carrier management, and compliance across a cold-chain environment.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, partner with customers and partners, develop forecasts and budgets, and present performance and cost-improvement opportunities to executive leadership. Travel 25–35% and support 24/7 operations in a remote/hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, transportation, or related field, or equivalent experience.
12+ years in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or distribution.
4+ years of people leadership experience managing managers and/or professional teams.
Experience with TMS and transportation analytics tools.
Demonstrated experience in transportation network design, route optimization, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

Lead domestic and international plasma and biologic transport operations.
Direct routing, network design, fleet utilization, and carrier capacity management.
Oversee carrier relationships, contracts, performance scorecards, and governance.
Develop transportation forecasts for volume, mileage, carrier capacity, fleet requirements, and budgets.
Lead transportation billing accuracy, carrier invoice validation, dispute resolution, and revenue protection initiatives.
