Job summary
Vuori seeks a technically strong product leader to own the strategy and roadmap for merchandise planning and allocation. You will collaborate with Data Science to bring forecasting to planners, guide a team of Product Managers and Analysts, and align with Merchandising and Planning leadership on how work is delivered.
We value explainability, adoption, and cross-functional partnership as a core part of delivering measurable business impact across pre-season and in-season planning.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product management, analytics, or planning tech in retail.
- Experience shipping machine learning or advanced analytics into daily workflows.
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs to merchants and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for merchandise planning and allocation capabilities.
- Partner with Data Science to productionize forecasting models and explainability.
- Drive adoption of system-generated forecasts and measure forecast value-add.
- Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising and Tech to define operating models.
- Stay ahead of planning/forecasting tech and map it into the roadmap.
- Own data foundation requirements and work with Data Engineering on pipelines.
- Lead, coach, and grow a small team of Product Managers and Analysts.
- Coordinate with on/offshore teams in agile ceremonies and quarterly planning.
