Job summary

Orcrist Technologies seeks a Director of Physical Security to build and lead our program across multiple sites in a remote‑first environment. You will own strategy, policy, incident response, and coordination with German authorities when required to ensure robust protection of people, assets, and operations.

This role requires 8–12+ years in security leadership, fluency in German and English, and willingness to travel as needed to support global sites and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in security leadership roles (corporate or defense).
• Experience building security programs from scratch in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of physical security controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and own group-wide physical security strategy across sites.
• Design, operate access control, CCTV, intrusion, and visitor management.
• Coordinate with authorities and internal security counterparts; manage insider threats.
• Lead crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity for physical incidents.
• Oversee security for supply chain, events, and external vendors.
