Job summary

Halozyme, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Supply Transactions Counsel to lead strategy and negotiations for manufacturing and supply collaborations. You will draft various agreements and perform diligence on life-science transactions, advising senior management on complex relationships with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA-accredited school and 8+ years in biotech/pharma law, with strong drafting and communication skills

Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school
• 8+ years’ experience in biotech/pharma law (in-house or firm)
• Experience negotiating and drafting complex manufacturing and supply agreements (including CDMO)
• Life sciences IP law experience preferred
• Excellent analytical and contract drafting skills
• Strong written and oral communication; collaborative leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and negotiation of pharmaceutical product manufacturing and supply collaborations
• Draft non-disclosure, development, manufacturing, service and supply agreements
• Perform due diligence and support life-sciences transactions (M&A, in-licenses)
• Advise management on complex manufacturing and supply relationships and related legal issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BD, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, engineering) to oversee Halozyme manufacturing and supply
• Develop and deliver training on legal topics for business teams; support execution of strategic initiatives
