Job summary

Canva is seeking a senior ML/algorithm leader to own the end-to-end roadmap for content intelligence and discovery. You’ll work with founders and executives to shape algorithmic strategy across content creation and personalization for 260+ million users.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team and drive next-gen ML, including LLM-powered experiences and real-time personalization, ensuring clear communication of complex tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior ML, data science, or algorithms leadership role.
• Fluency across recommendation systems, content understanding, search/retrieval, and personalization.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across ML, engineering, data science and product.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end algorithmic roadmap for content intelligence and discovery.
• Prioritize high impact ML/AI use across content and discovery with leaders.
