Job summary

Bloom Healthcare is seeking a Director of Payor Relations in Lakewood, CO (hybrid) to lead payor contracting, revenue cycle, and credentialing functions. The role partners with senior leadership to optimize reimbursement, strengthen payer relationships, and build durable operational processes across all payor-facing areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 4–7 years in healthcare with exposure to at least one: contracting, revenue cycle, or credentialing.
• Experience with health plans including commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle fundamentals: claims submission, denials, AR, payer requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision making.
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationships.
• Willing to grow across payor disciplines and lead across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead managed care contracting: negotiate, execute, and manage contracts with payers.
• Oversee revenue cycle continuity: metrics, denials, cash flow, and compliance.
• Direct provider credentialing/enrollment processes and team performance.
• Cultivate payor relations and set strategy; represent Bloom in negotiations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and budgeting for the department.
