ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Head of Partnerships at Highrise.ai, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and scaling a high-impact engagement strategy that connects Highrise to the most ambitious AI startups and influential ecosystem stakeholders. This position combines elements of community building, partnership development, and go-to-market execution to position Highrise as the infrastructure layer of choice for startups building with AI.

We're looking for a creative ecosystem operator—someone passionate about AI, well-connected across the startup landscape, and capable of crafting repeatable, high-value engagement programs that drive both brand and business growth.

Some of the responsibilities you can expect include the following:

  • Ecosystem Development: Build and maintain relationships with accelerators, VC firms, technical communities, university groups, and AI research networks to establish strategic alliances.
  • Startup Program Design & Growth: Launch and expand scalable engagement initiatives that help early-stage AI companies access compute credits, technical resources, and GTM support from Highrise.
  • Event Strategy & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of impactful events such as founder roundtables, hackathons, workshops, and speaker sessions in collaboration with partners and internal teams.
  • Pipeline Generation & Nurture: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to structure a top-of-funnel pipeline strategy that attracts promising startups and supports their journey to becoming long-term Highrise users.
  • Program Measurement & Optimization: Define and track engagement KPIs like lead volume, program participation, and ecosystem growth. Use insights to optimize the approach for better results over time.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across teams—including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success—to bring ecosystem insights back into the business and improve our offerings for the startup audience.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5–7 years of experience working within the startup ecosystem (e.g., accelerators, early-stage venture firms, devtool or cloud startups, or community platforms)
  • Demonstrated success in creating or scaling developer-focused programs, startup engagement efforts, or strategic tech partnerships
  • A well-developed network in the AI and emerging technology space—founders, investors, communities, and beyond
  • Experience planning and executing startup-centric events, from curated dinners to full-scale summits
  • Comfort designing and launching scalable GTM strategies in partnership with go-to-market teams
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with ease engaging both technical founders and executive stakeholders
  • Strong cross-functional instincts and experience collaborating across growth, product, and technical teams
  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure, cloud services, or machine learning tools, with a genuine curiosity about the space
  • Nice to have:
    • Existing relationships with top ecosystem players—VCs, incubators, research groups, and developer platforms
    • Hands-on event experience, whether leading a workshop or organizing a multi-track founder conference
    • Experience working with technical communities or within the AI/ML, dev tools, or infrastructure domains
    • Track record building and scaling ambassador or community programs in a startup environment
