Job summary

Bishop & Company, Inc. in Hawaii seeks a General Manager / Head of Operations, Sales & Service to oversee statewide operations in sales, rentals, service and parts.

You will lead multi-island teams, strengthen customer relationships, and drive growth across Hawaii’s essential industries including construction and agriculture. Develop and execute strategic plans, manage daily operations, budgeting, and partnerships with contractors, OEMs, and public agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years senior leadership experience in equipment dealerships, distribution, large equipment rentals or related industries
• 5+ years direct retail sales experience
• Proven success managing multi-branch or multi-island operations
• Strong financial management, strategic planning, and team development skills
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, and Hawaii’s business environment highly preferred

Compensation

Compensation and title are determined individually based on experience and qualifications. Expected starting salary range: $160,000-$180,000, with flexibility based on expertise and leadership scope.
