Job summary

STONERIVER is seeking a Staffing Coordinator in Murfreesboro, TN to ensure adequate staffing of the facility's nursing department in line with budget and census targets. The role involves maintaining schedules, coordinating interviews, and supporting DNS and HR to optimize staffing levels and compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and tactful interaction with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintaining a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update business office with current posting of department managers' phone numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Report to DNS all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism.
• Schedule modified work duty employees in accordance with policy.
• Complete nursing department employee records upon hiring, reclassification and discharge.
• Assist with forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing.
• Coordinate nursing schedules to ensure coverage.
• Post work sheets/time schedules and coordinate variances with the DNS.
• Assist with designated reports and process improvements within policy.
