Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Manager, Network Engineering to lead a team of network engineers and architects in the design, implementation, and management of the hospital system’s network infrastructure.

The role ensures the performance, security, and reliability of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to support hospital operations, while developing strategic growth plans and enforcing best practices across the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar or related role.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, ITIL, PMP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of network engineers and architects to design and manage Baptist Health’s network.
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless).
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of network systems.
• Develop strategic plans for network growth and oversee new technologies.
• Enforce best practices for network security and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT leaders to align network solutions with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting complex network issues.
