The Jewish Grad Organization (JGO) seeks a Director of Programming & Engagement to lead and grow a national student and alumni programming team. This hybrid NYC role reports to Operations and shapes on‑campus, off‑campus, and post‑graduate experiences with strategic program design and strong people management.

Responsibilities include developing annual programming strategy, evaluating programs, and expanding the regional coordinator network.

Qualifikationen

• 5–7+ years in program management or student engagement.
• 3+ years managing people, including scaling a team.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, the New York City area.
• Proven ability to design, run, and evaluate programs at scale with budgets and measurable goals.
• Strong project management and organizational skills in a fast‑paced, growing org.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building with students, staff, partners, and donors.
• Familiarity with CRM tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Deep commitment to JGO's mission and to building Jewish community.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, and develop the Programming & Engagement team, including regional coordinators and events staff.
• Design the team’s growth structure as the coordinator network expands across campuses.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members; build a repeatable training program.
• Set clear goals, KPIs, and expectations for every role; conduct regular 1:1s and reviews.
• Document playbooks and processes so knowledge stays with the team.
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, warmth, and continuous improvement.
