The Jewish Grad Organization (JGO) in New York is seeking a Director of Programming & Engagement to lead and scale national student and alumni programs, both on campus and off. You will build a strong national team, shape programming strategy, and partner with campus administrators and donors to maximize impact.

Location is New York City with hybrid work and regular in-person time. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $120,000, based on experience, with opportunities to drive growth and engagement

Qualifikationen

• 5–7+ years of experience in program management, student or young-adult engagement, community building, or a related field.
• 3+ years managing people and scaling teams: hiring, onboarding, training, growth.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, the New York City area.
• Proven ability to design, run, and evaluate programs at scale with budgets and measurable goals.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, staff, partners, and donors.
• Familiarity with Jewish communal life, campus engagement, or graduate schools preferred.

Aufgaben

• Build, coach, and develop the Programming & Engagement team, including regional coordinators and events staff.
• Design growth-ready team structure as the network expands across campuses.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new members; create repeatable training programs.
• Set clear goals, KPIs, and conduct regular 1:1s and reviews.
• Document playbooks and processes; foster ownership and accountability.
• Ensure culture of warmth and continuous improvement.
