Job summary

Holland Hall in Tulsa seeks its next Head of Middle School for a July 1, 2027 start. The MS Head oversees the branch’s faculty, program and daily operations, and serves as the voice to current and prospective families.

The role emphasizes curricular alignment across PreK-12, collaboration with other leaders, and guiding a community focused on belonging, inclusion, and meaningful student growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellence as a teacher and knowledge of current, research-informed best practice in middle school curriculum and pedagogy.
• Experience hiring, coaching, evaluating, supporting, and retaining excellent faculty.
• Ability to partner with families and manage change with diplomacy and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Middle School branch, including faculty, program, and daily operations.
• Collaborate with MS deans, counselors, and chaplain; represent the MS to families.
• Build PreK-12 curricular alignment and advocate for the Middle School’s role in school operations.
• Lead with an open, collaborative management style and foster trust and transparency.
• Shape routines, traditions, and the daily rhythms of a transforming campus.
