Job summary

Open Doors Academy is seeking a Director of Middle School Program to lead and scale the Northeast Ohio middle school offerings. You will guide program design, supervision, and stakeholder engagement to drive scholar outcomes.

The role centers on strategic leadership, budget oversight, and cross-team collaboration. You will supervise the Middle School Program Manager and work with the Chief Program Officer to align curricula with ODE and industry benchmarks, while maintaining strong family

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in nonprofit education preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for the middle school program to ensure quality and impact.
• Oversee scholar recruitment and retention; ensure programs run at capacity.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive middle school curriculum aligned with Ohio standards.
• Manage budgets, travel, and collaboration with CPO and departments.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and performance conversations.
