Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Director of the Medical Equipment Planning and Procurement (MEPP) to lead planning, design, procurement, and deployment of medical equipment for contracted projects across markets and facilities, including new construction and major renovations.

You will oversee Smartsheet, Envi, and Bluebeam, manage project budgets, vendor relations, and ensure regulatory compliance while leading the MEPP team to deliver safe, high-quality patient-care equipment on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience organizing and planning for MEPP in a health system setting.
• End-to-end MEPP understanding with advanced financial acumen.
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of medical equipment planning and procurement for new construction and major renovation projects.
• Develop and execute strategic MEPP plans aligned with mission and values.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors for favorable terms.
• Communicate project statuses to executives and coordinate with leaders.
• Establish departmental goals, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Improve MEPP operations with efficient processes and workflows.
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations and ensure SLAs are met.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.
• Perform quality control from planning to closeout.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
