Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA) is seeking a Head of Media to grow public awareness and understanding of effective altruism. The role leads media engagement, handles press inquiries, and develops proactive media strategies to shape public discourse.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will collaborate with Marketing, Events and Community Health teams, manage relationships with journalists, and guide the growth of CEA's media function on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Set media strategy and annual plan.
• Shape public discourse around effective altruism.
• Handle press inquiries as spokesperson.
• Build media networks with journalists and agencies.
• Advise stakeholders and manage reputational risk.
• Hire and manage staff and agencies.
