Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required; P.E. is preferred.
• Experience with industrial ventilation, HVAC, and related systems.
• Demonstrated leadership or department management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ventilation design standards (ACGIH/NFPA/ASHRAE).
• Experience on industrial projects (chemical, manufacturing, etc.).
• Proficiency in relevant design and simulation software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Mechanical/Industrial Ventilation department and supervise engineers, designers, and staff.
• Lead design and analysis of ventilation, dust collection, HVAC, and exhaust systems.
• Provide technical oversight and review of engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to deliver multi-discipline projects.
• Mentor and develop team members for technical growth and career progression.
• Develop and maintain department standards, tools, and best practices.
• Support client relationships, proposals, and estimating activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
