The Head of Marketing position is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketing leader to rebuild and lead a global marketing function at a well-established software company. With a new product launching this fall and growing international momentum, the company is looking for someone to define brand positioning, re-energize the team, and lead modern marketing strategies that support growth and internal transformation.

The Head of Marketing will work closely with the executive team—CEO, Chief Product Officer, and sales leaders—to level up how the company shows up in the market and how marketing operates internally. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds clarity from complexity, and leads with both strategy and execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and evolve brand and go-to-market strategies across the product portfolio, including a major launch later this year
  • Manage and grow the marketing team (3 direct reports); assess gaps, coach talent, and build a strong, collaborative culture
  • Create and execute integrated campaigns across digital, PR, social media, content, and trade shows
  • Partner with Product to craft compelling messaging and successful product launches
  • Support two business functions: Sales (direct + channel) and Learning & Development (training arm)
  • Own the trade show calendar and execution—including booth experience and on-site activations
  • Audit current marketing efforts and improve processes, communication, and alignment
  • Act as a connector between US and international teams to ensure consistent brand presence and strategy

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in software, SaaS, or tech-enabled services
  • A well-rounded marketer with experience across the funnel—from brand to demand gen
  • A team-first leader with strong communication skills and the ability to manage diverse personalities
  • Comfortable in lean environments—rolls up sleeves, builds structure where needed
  • Equal parts strategic and tactical—can define positioning and still make sure the social post goes live
  • Experience supporting both direct sales and reseller/channel partners
  • Strong executive presence—confident leading conversations with senior leaders

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with SaaS platforms or digital product marketing
  • Revitalizing a legacy brand or team culture
  • Trade show expertise, especially product launches timed to industry events

The Details:

Compensation: ~$120K base + bonus

Remote: US-based only (no CA or NY); travel required for trade shows
