Minerva is hiring a founding Head of Marketing in New York City to build the marketing engine for a category-creating AI platform.
You will own content, SEO, funnels, lifecycle, and product marketing messaging, working with founders to scale demand and pipeline. This is a founding role with equity and a path to shape brand, GTM strategy and enterprise reach.
About Minerva Minerva builds AI for marketing leaders. Our platform lets marketers focus on telling the story of their brand while AI agents handle the operationally intensive work: data management, segment creation, analytics, measurement and reporting. Everything is built on Minerva's proprietary consumer graph: an identity and attribute layer covering 270M+ U.S. consumers across 2,000+ through-time attributes. On top of it sit two agentic systems built in partnership with OpenAI: an Agentic Data Engineer that unifies and standardizes a brand's first-party data in hours, and an Agentic Data Scientist that trains robust targeting models at scale. Together, our data and platform improve the quality of a brand's first-party data, lift campaign performance and give marketing teams their time back. We work with leading consumer brands across categories, including the NBA, Capital One, Hard Rock Stadium Group / Miami Dolphins, Wander and Trust & Will. We've raised $20M from The General Partnership, 8VC, Lingotto, NBA Investments, Topology Ventures, Future Positive, Background Capital and many others. Our team brings together operators and investors from Citadel, Dentsu, Bridgewater, Meta Superintelligence and Lazard, alongside researchers from Berkeley, MIT, Stanford and Cambridge.
Minerva has grown on product and word of mouth: the kind of organic pull most companies spend millions trying to manufacture. Customers find us, our network sends us deals, and the product earns the rest. Now we're building the marketing engine to match the product. You'll be the founding owner of that engine: an always-on system of content, funnels, lifecycle, and demand that compounds month over month. Our own growth should be the sharpest proof of what the platform does, and you're the operator who makes that true. One thing to know about the bar: category creation is brand work here. Our category is not saturated with heavy search volume yet - the story, the point of view, and the taste level ARE the growth strategy. And because our marketing is a live demo of a marketing platform, the brand bar is unusually high. But this is brand expressed through a compounding engine with a pipeline number attached.
The number you own is qualified pipeline - not traffic, not signups
First 90 days: the content/SEO engine is publishing on a real cadence. The core funnel (landing page to demo to onboarding) is instrumented and converting measurably better. Attribution is trustworthy. You know our buyer cold and the sales narrative is codified - messaging hierarchy, deck, pricing-page story - so the founders have stopped writing their own materials.
First 6 months: a compounding engine. Inbound pipeline growing from channels you built, lifecycle turning demos into retained customers, paid and PR running cleanly under your direction, a GTM engineering roadmap you direct, and an earned point of view on what to keep in-house vs. rent.
$190,000-240,000 base salary, depending on experience. Meaningful early-stage equity - this is a founding seat and the grant reflects it.
