Job summary

Vizient is seeking a senior leader to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and AI solutions across the enterprise. You will oversee data science teams and ensure governance to support data-informed decisions.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and experience with healthcare or financial analytics, with a focus on scalable, ethical AI deployments. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in the United States.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent in a quantitative field with demonstrated leadership in data science.
• Expertise in ML, DL, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL and cloud AI/ML platforms.
• Knowledge of ML Ops, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for ML and modeling initiatives and develop roadmaps.
• Oversee design, development, and validation of models for forecasting and risk.
• Establish and maintain model governance, validation, and monitoring.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data science team.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate analyses into insights for executives.
• Stay abreast of AI/ML innovations and promote best practices.
